  • The Bad Girls of Western Lit

The Bad Girls of Western Lit is a collection of scenes and monologues adapted from classical drama or literature. It highlights those works with strong agency for women. While many classical pieces have only one to two strong roles for women, this show pulls from multiple sources for a female-centric performance strung together with original narration. Catch it at the Veterans Amphitheater in May 2025, part of the City of Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival.

  • The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Step into the heart of Paris and experience the powerful tale of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This evocative musical, inspired by Victor Hugo’s classic novel and the acclaimed Disney animated film, brings to life the story of love, acceptance, and heroism set against the backdrop of the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral.

Featuring a soaring score by the legendary Alan Menken, with lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, this production promises to mesmerize audiences with its breathtaking music and poignant storytelling. The stage adaptation of this timeless story captures the essence of Hugo’s vision, enhanced by the beloved melodies and new songs that add depth to the narrative.

This production will feature actors of all ages and will perform in July 2025 at Katherine Johnson Middle School.

  • Gutenberg! The Musical

Gutenberg! The Musical! is a hilarious musical about an unintentionally hilarious new musical. Bud and Doug are two best pals putting on a show they've written together because they just love each other so much. They've saved up to present a staged reading for potential backers, playing all the parts themselves, with the help of some hats and a piano accompanist. It’s art imitating life imitating art!

This production will play in September 2025 at Vienna Baptist Church.

  • A Backstage Christmas

We're excited to welcome back Ellen Dean Price (playwright and director, The Heiress of Hawtrey Hall) with her holiday romantic comedy, A Backstage Christmas.

Elise Garland wants a quiet Christmas, so she can focus on the holiday rush with her online marketing business. But when her son Noah is offered a stage role in “Bob Cratchit’s Toy Shoppe” at a local amusement park, she can’t say no, especially when dynamic actor Calderon Myles makes a desperate plea. It’s a far bigger commitment than Elise realized but with Noah loving every minute, she can’t help but take on some of the holiday cheer – and take note of Cal – whose enthusiasm for the stage and the season has warmed her heart.

A Christmas Carol meets Hallmark Christmas movie, this play about family, dealing with loss, embracing the season and, of course, plenty of romance and lots of fun will be performed in December 2025 at Katherine Johnson Middle School.
